Hey stranger 👋
I decided to do some catching up on maksmadmarch while I curl up with my fuzzy blankets and recover.
No. 16 UpTheMt ⛺
Sheshh Up the mountain is almost an understatement for Montage Mt The struggle is real but the view is gorgeous!
And what a perfect metaphor for me to remind you that ya gottagottagottaaa give yourself breaks - not only physically, but mentally too. It's import to slow down when you NEED it, not when you "feel like it." It may be difficult but the rewards are beautiful
Yesterday I went on probably THE most expensive date I'll ever go on in my life: a trip to the emergency room! Can I get a woot woot 🎉 🦗🦗? No? Good!
Cuz that's not where you want to be spending your time
Fortunately this date gave way to the vaguely good news of, "welp, we didn't find anything abnormal in your tests!" No diagnosis.
While the true culprit of my visit is unknown, I have a sneaking suspicion of what didn't help Overworking myself both physically and mentally and then A) cont. to choose unhealthy habits B) ignoring those things most times and C) creating a false sense of "okayness" with A and B.
So, I'll say it again a little louder and maybe I'll actually hear it myself this time: TWO HOMES. BODY + EARTH. TAKE CARE OF THEM. Take your health seriously Cuz it's all fun and games until it's really REALLY not. Your mind and body depend on each other and they both depend on you.
Taking a break doesn't have to mean a complete halt. It doesn't have to be anything crazy, it doesn't have to be all at once and it doesn't have to look or feel like anyone else's break.
Drink a little more water.
Take a little more time for yourself.
Eat when you're hungry, sleep when you're tired and let loose a little when you feel you might just explode.
Its not selfish. I promise 🧡
