In my current season, there are a ton of unexpected things that keep popping up Sometimes those unexpected things distract me from the most important things, and sometimes they contribute to the most important things. For example, today my 3-year-old unexpectedly ran out into the road. I got some extra cardio in for the day. 🤪 . We can’t always control what pops up in our lives, but we can determine what our non-negotiable priorities are Because working out is one of my non-negotiable priorities, I have chosen a program during this season that only requires 22 minutes a day It’s always easy to say, “I will have more time when ,” but that just may not be true. Don’t let your circumstances determine your priorities.

Did it. Today workout and it was a good one day 15 - faster I Stayed committed even after a girls night out, dancing, drinking beer and out late. Sometimes all of this life fun can be hard on "this old lady" (I know I really ain't old but I am not in my 20s) I had a blast and love living life to its fullest. And this reason it was even more important to do my workout and do it well. I modify some because the high impact jumping is sometimes too much injuries but each day I get strong and healthier. This helps my joints out. I sometimes have to push pass the joint discomfort to IMPROVE, but I also need to know when I need to modify. If I can do it you can too. When you choose to take care of yourself then you feel better. Health and fitness is work. It isn't easy and you have to fight to be the stronger you. 80% is the food choices, the amount you eat and when you eat. The rest is moving increasing your activity and change it up. You can do it. Tabata Tuesday at 15 weeks and 6 days pregnant because it's my absolute favorite workout to do at home and yes I'm absolutely still at it. Last week at my prenatal appt my Dr asked if I was taking it easy on the spin bike when we were discussing my classes and schedule. My reaction was to smile and respond with, "I ran 5 miles the next morning 🤷." But while many people think I'm not taking it easy I assure you my workouts are at an easier and slower pace. For example when teaching my HIIT Spin class I have no choice now but to turn down some of the resistance because working out while instructing is a huge challenge when pregnant. My running pace is quite a bit slower and during any given hiit or strength training workout I can't get through as many reps with the same ease and level of effort because my body feels heavier and everything is more challenging. So while I'm still doing everything I'm definitely not going as hard core or "balls to the wall" as I usually do. But if there's one thing I'm really good at it's being very in tune with my body and listening to it closely. If something doesn't feel right I either modify or stop all together. I've told countless pregnant women who have taken my classes exactly what I did when I was pregnant with my first, "Your body will guide you and it won't steer you wrong." Listen to it, nourish it, cherish it, embrace it and celebrate it. If it feels good then go for it, if it doesn't then don't! Pregnancy is temporary, but the strength you gain is forever as long as you continue building on it.

Update If follow my stories you know that I was trying to decide if spending the money on a yeti was worth it or not SOI got a Yeti I did get the Walmart brand BUILT and I do like it. It kept my coffee warm enough! BUTit stayed hot/warm for about 2 hours and I heard the Yeti will keep it hot longer so I still wanted to try it! How is your relationship with your body? (Deep question despite my bras hanging on my door- hoping we can note it and move on 😂) I have gotten a LOT of questions on how to reconcile our relationship with our bodies since our ActionMadeMamasPodcast sex & body image episode - I have had several women ask how to process their bodies changing after babies with their spouse. My question back to them is- what exactly do they need to process with their spouse? The fact that you have had and you don’t look 26 anymore? It was a question of them feeling bad for their partner no longer getting to see them a certain way. I would venture to say, that is more about YOUR feelings about your body than it is about your HUSBAND’s feelings. I don’t know what he feels, and I don’t think you can control the way someone perceives you. ⁣ ⁣ Here’s the thing- he probably loves you so much even if you are heavier and look a little different than you used to. If not- we have a different issue. Marriage isn’t all about what we look like. And marriage is supposed to be intimate regardless of what you look like. ⁣ ⁣ On the flip-side of this- I am not saying you have to throw in the towel and “let yourself go to a destiny of eating cheetos in bed all day” (Though not a bad fantasy 🤔). This all goes back to Acceptance over Resignation for me. This morning, I literally woke up with SUCH a joy in my heart that I had 1.) the Privilege to workout 2.) The desire to move my body 3.) a new Rogue sled to play with at the Dojo AND 4.) Sunshine - it made my cellulite not seem so bad. Ya know? I could say, “Screw it!” and be angry that my body never wants to weigh 112 pounds again, OR I can accept that things might not look & feel the same, BUT I still have the ability to move, get strong and be grateful for my body. So I guess what I am saying is- you get to choose. You get to choose WHAT you do and you get to choose HOW you feel about it. And you can live in self loathing OR your can work on self acceptance. Both take time. Both take mental energy. And one is beneficial, and the other is not. ⁣ ⁣ Tell me how your relationship is with your body currently. 💙

I was so disappointed with myself and frustrated that I was squatting one-fucking-fif- - I used to warm up with 135 I just felt like this was all so pointless - it was one of the those days when I felt like I should just be kind to myself and take it easy, cut my workout short, but I also felt like doing this thing i don't want to do will be good for me, practicing being uncomfortable and brave I know parenting those first five years are the most intense, but I just feel like I won't ever be strong again. Being late to powerlifting anyway, I feel like i've lost my window. By the time the toddler is 5, it'll be too late for me to be strong.

I’m going to be a human cow soon 🥛 The thought of another life literally depending on me for the last almost 9 months and for the rest of forever is freaking awesome . On the “bad” days (which are getting more and more frequent), the aches in my back and legs bring me peace, because they’re a reminder that I’m growing a damn human 🤯 . I never imagined myself pregnant - it was never an option for me, but here we are, and it’s my damn miracle ✨ . The curveballs have been relentless, but in all honesty, they always have been 🤷‍♀️ . YOU determine the outcome of all situations. Periot I could have let life get the best of me years ago, but I’ve MADE a way through literally everything that has been thrown at me . I’ve learned . I’ve adapted . Im constantly growing . I’ve taught myself how to control my mind which in turn has given me complete control of my life 🧠 . I’m always ready for the next hurdle . And I’m so blessed to have learned everything I have in order to be the best I can be for myself and now my family 💕(that’s crazy to say, holy shit I have my own family donatopanichelli 🤯) . I’m also freaking blessed to have more knowledge than most when it comes to health and nutrition during this journey 🙏 . 70 KIILOS DE PURO AMOR me han dicho Yo digo 70 kilos de responsabilidades, de trabajo, de estrés, de proyectos nuevos, de carga familiar y económica, pero también de saliditas, de copas de vino y de gin, de una buena carne o una rica pasta acompañada de una buena conversación… Como sea, son 70 kilos, y si bien, el peso son solo números que no describen la realidad de un cuerpo, mucho menos la de una persona, igual pesan… A mi me pesan en la espalda, en las rodillas, me pesan cuando el pantalón no me sube o me ajusta el botón. Cuando yo baje de peso la coyuntura en mi vida me lo permitió. Estaba recién separada, recién incorporándome a mi trabajo después de mi segunda hija, tiempo tenia y sobretodo ganas, muchas ganas, ganas de verme mejor y de sentirme mejor, de recuperar mi autoestima; pero también ganas de mantenerme ocupada y orientar toda mi energía a algo productivo y no a ponerme triste porque mi familia se acababa de romper.
