Keep it simple!
With so many trendy workouts and diets out there it can get very overwhelming to navigate. Don’t get me wrong, there are times I enjoy those fancy snacks and products too but they are by no means necessary to reach your goals. You don’t need to spend a ton on complicated diets, fancy foods or workout classes. However if you find these helpful and enjoy them, by all means utilize them! They just aren’t the only option. For workouts, it can be as simple as getting up and going for a walk! For strength, the basic old school lifts will get you there. Think squats, deadlifts, presses, curls, etc. I personally do a mix of these and walking. Simple, whole foods can be both easy and affordable. Fresh or frozen produce and grains in bulk go a long way. It also makes it very easy to track your portions and macros, as there isn’t much guessing involved with what the ingredients are in a sweet potato 😏. Most people overcomplicate nutrition and fitness. Too much of anything (even the good stuff) isn’t always helpful. You can’t go wrong with the basics!
