Day 5 of bulking. Today was leg day. The benefits of doing less cardio is more strength & I've increased quite a few weights. The downside is slowly adding body fat specifically to my stomach, which I knew would happen if I ever tried to bulk. It's definitely a hard change of mindset as I love having abs & low body fatbut for my body as my muscles have a chance to grow to achieve & maintain that means exhausting amounts of cardio, & I'm feeling much better reducing that. Day 1 of converting from cutting to bulking: it's definitely a learning curve for me. I'm very used to being cardio heavy & I have to change how my mindset is with exercise too. I cut my cardio down to less intensive & definitely less of itbut looking at my Fitbit stats I've definitely done more than necessary accidentally, but it's a case of learning by trial & error how much I need to do. I can't cut it out completely as my body is used to a lot of it & I'd definitely just balloon in fat. But tomorrow I can do less to work out how much is right. As I haven't done thirsty Thursday pics in a long time it's ok to post 2 in 1 day rightbut in all seriousness perfect time to post my "starting pic". I'm about to start bulking so this pic will be comparison. My body fat isn't as low as it was & I COULD cut it lowerbut I just don't want to go stricter on the food side again tbh, I love cake. It definitely means I'm going to lose any visible abs, my body fluctuates easily when I have any time off working out or my eating plan, & to get & maintain abs is ridiculously hardcore for me. Today we've done a LOT of work on our legs for leg day& a few minutes on chest. My legs hurta LOT.
