Quintessential Ireland where little fishing villages abound. In this pic, we were waiting for the car ferry to take us to Hook so we could tour the world’s oldest operational lighthouse. We also spotted Ireland’s most haunted house! Ireland pic 5/12

RACE PREVIEW: . Circuit: Circuit de Monaco Length: 3.337km Laps: 78 Race distance: 260.286km Corners: 19 Races: 65 Lap record: 1:14.260 (Max Verstappen - Red Bull, 2018) Lap record average speed: 162kph . 2018 Stats Pole: 1:10.810 (Daniel Ricciardo) Fastest Lap: 1:14.260 (Max Verstappen) Podium: Daniel Ricciardo, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton . Since 1929, The Monaco Grand Prix is the one race of the year that every driver dreams of winning, requiring a combination of precision driving, technical excellence and sheer bravery to win in Monte Carlo . These facets highlight the differences between the good drivers and the great in Formula 1 . The Armco barrier-lined circuit leaves no margin for error, demanding more concentration that any other Formula 1 track. Cars run with maximum downforce and brakes are worked hard. Overtaking is next to impossible so qualifying in Monaco is more critical than at any other Grand Prix. The Portier corner is key to achieving a good lap time around Monaco. It is preceded by the Loews hairpin, the slowest corner in Formula 1, and followed by the tunnel, one of the few flat-out sections of the track . Both Graham Hill, the man nicknamed ‘Mr Monaco’, and Michael Schumacher won it five times, Alain Prost took four victories, whilst Stirling Moss and Jackie Stewart each won here three times. But the record of wins in the Principality resides with the Senna, who won in Monte Carlo six times . The race has been a regular fixture of the world championship since 1955, but in that time the circuit has changed remarkably little. Slight alterations were made for the 2003 event, in particular a new, gentler entry to the Rascasse corner, with even bigger changes in 2004, with a new pit complex and increased spectator capacity. This race also marks Kimi Raikkonen's 300th F1 race to date 💪💪🍸🏁🏁🏁 bknewsclip F1 firstgrid racepreview monacoGP round6 raceweek montecarlo monaco official_f1racingindonesia racing insider visionaries foodie dapper travel travelingwriter sartorial gentslounge coffee cigars mensfashion cigarlounge monsterjam useyourimagination

On Saturday, March 18, 2006, David Bowles participated in the 225th Observance of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse at the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park, the site of the battle and Adam Mitchell’s farm, as described in Spring House. He represented the San Antonio Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution at the 11:00 AM ceremony, laying a wreath at the Nathanael Greene Monument. David conducted a seminar on the Mitchell Family at the Buffalo Creek Presbyterian Church, founded 250 years ago by Adam Mitchell’s family. Forty-five direct descendants of Adam Mitchell gathered in Greensboro to observe the occasion. The family attended a special service at the Buffalo Creek Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning. Three generations (the 7th, 8th, and 9th generations from Adam Mitchell) enjoyed the reunion. texas familyhistory history santafetrail travel rvliving family authorsofinstagram author westwardsaga speaker texasauthor motivation authorscommunity travelingwriter authorlife buffalocreek austintexas

Sometimes, working on a novel feels like chipping away at a mountain. ⛰ At first, you’re filled with the excitement of a new idea, but as time drifts by, you can start to wonder if you’re getting anywhere. 🤔 But you keep chipping away, working hard, trusting the process. And eventually, the story emerges. 📕 I love that moment! And seeing the story come together gives me renewed energy to refine the details and polish the rough spots. 📖 Right now, I’m still chipping away. 📝 QOTD: What part of the process are you in?

BREAKING: . Formula One legend Niki Lauda who survived horrendous burns to become an airline entrepreneur has died aged 70, after a period of ill health . Lauda won the F1 drivers' championship in 1975 and 1977 with Ferrari and again in 1984 with McLaren . In 1976, he was badly burned when he crashed during the German Grand Prix, but made an astonishingly fast return to racing just six weeks later . The comeback became the stuff of legend and his battle with Britain's James Hunt was the subject of the hit movie 'Rush' . Lauda has twice undergone kidney transplants, in 1997 and 2005. His brother Florian donated an organ for the first operation and his wife Brigit did the same for the second . After retirement from racing he also became an airline entrepreneur, and had agreed to sell his controlling stake in Laudamotion to Ryanair . At the start of the year Lauda was in hospital in Vienna with the flu, five months after undergoing a lung transplant . He was flown in early January from the Spanish island of Ibiza where he had been vacationing to a hospital in the Austrian capital . Lauda, who received a new lung on August 2 last year, was non-executive chairman of Mercedes . He has had a close working relationship with five-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton and was involved in helping to sign the British driver from McLaren for the 2013 season 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞🙏🙏🏁🏁🏁🏁 bknewsclip breakingnews F1 ripnikilauda nikilauda f1legend worldchampion scuderiaferrari mercedesamgf1 firstgrid official_f1racingindonesia insider visionaries foodie dapper travel travelingwriter sartorial gentslounge coffee cigars mensfashion cigarlounge monsterjam useyourimagination

I woke up last night at around two A.M. to quiet and moonlight pouring in through our bedroom window. I peered over at my husband, still sound asleep, chest rising and falling in rhythm with his breath. I sat up with the covers still wrapped around me in the cold night air, and pulled our curtains back, looking out onto a moonlit desert terrain, no other light around for miles. ⁣ I sat silently, and stared at the impressive full moon for a few moments, in awe of its raw beauty and power. ⁣ as i watched illuminated wisps of white clouds slowly slide over the surface, I settled into myself; into the pattern of my own breathing. ⁣ in that moment, it was as though i had tuned in to another frequency, and I realized the night wasn’t so quiet after all. all around me, there were other animals, howling, croaking, scuttling across the desert floor. ⁣ other wild creatures who, like me, were drunk on moonlight 🌕⁣ •⁣ •⁣ •⁣ •⁣ •⁣ •⁣ tinyhomeonwheels camperlife homeiswhereyouparkit fulltimeRVlife rvnomads vandwellinglife freecamping campervanlifestyle outboundliving projectvanlife lifeontheroad skoolielife travelingwriter leaveherwild wildatheart desertlife desertlove wonderfulwildwomen createyourtrail wearestillwild getoutdoors radtravel livingtinyproject tinyhousemovement smallspacesquad vancrush vanlifedreams vanlifeculture vanlifejournal womenontheroad

Spending the day exploring Sedona, AZ, with Hubby. Such a different place from where we live in Florida. Our most insightful observation so far: People here probably don’t have a need for lawn mowers. As juliacameronlive would say, I’m filling the well. Last night in Sydney, enjoying a soak overlooking Hyde Park. I really am in love with this city. It’s the libraries and free museums. It’s the friendly inhabitants and beautiful parks. It’s the delicious food and perfect picnic weather. It’s all so wonderful, the only reason I’m willing to leave now is I know I’ll be back in September. Until then, I’ll enjoy one last stunning view of this spectacular city. travelingwriter bawdyloveontheroad femalenomad solotraveler sydney

Much of my heart belongs to this place and I have so many childhood memories of Tramore. Scrambling over rocks down the pier, running along the doneraile, being one of the very many of us. My Grand was the man I revered more than any other and even now despite his passing years ago, I can feel how much he loved me and how that helped me grow from to woman. What confidence and self-belief he instilled in me. The love of a grandfather is a rich gift indeed. Ireland pic 4/12

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change” ~ waynedyer . When I was circumnavigating Cuba aboard american_cruise_lines there became a reoccurring theme I kept impressing on the passengers: perspective An older generation, many of them were carrying the scenes from another time period with them when fear, difference, and war were at the forefront of life. Without fail, as each port would pass, more and more passengers would begin to shed their expectations of the island and open to a new reality of what life was like for the people there now. They saw love, creativity, and resourcefulness. Most importantly, they recognized humanity - two cultures just separated by a thin 90 mile stretch of waterway This is the gift that perspective inspires and I intend to not let that go unnoticed.
